These Super Bright Flashing LEDs come Fully Assembled shrink tubed, wired and ready to use with 8 inches of insulated wire after the rectifier. Connect these LEDs to any track power source: AC DC or DCC. They will work great with 5-19 Volts of Power. These Flashing LEDs don't need a circuit board, and look great as end of train devices, on Maintenance of Way vehicles, as Oscillating Headlights, on Die Cast Emergency Vehicles, warning flashers, and more!

Normal Flash Rate: This is a nice flash rate for maintenance vehicles, trains, EOT, warning flashers or bridges, radio towers, classic era police cars, and more! uses.

On this truck, the lens was removed and a yellow flasher inserted. If you like the light colored in the "off" phase as well, simply paint with a light coat of enamel.

7-19v flashing LED on HO slot car

I used the 7-19v flashing LED unit and drilled a hole to install the 3mm LED. The flashing unit is small enough to fit under most HO slot car bodies. I painted the LED with a light coat of clear red enamel paint so when the car is not running the light is still red. All I have to do now is shorten the wires and connect to chassis. It’s a shame that I can’t add photos or the video to this review but you won’t be disappointed with this product.

Diesel Locomotive Headlights

I saw a Youtube video of an O-gauge Marx diesel E7 locomotive modified with two headlights - a flashing LED light above and a non-flashing LED light below. The Youtuber used Evan Designs LEDs. I contacted him, he told me precisely what he used, and so I decided to give it a try with one of my Marx E7 locomotives. It worked out so well, that I am going to order more of these lights. They are fantastic!. Great products. High Quality. Very nicely designed, and in my case they were relatively easy to install. The effect is phenomenal. The price was reasonable, the packaging provided adequate protection, the instructions were well written and understandable, the service and delivery was prompt. It was a real pleasure doing business with Evan Designs.

This was pretty easy. It was harder to drill the hole for the 3mm LED and removing the shell is a pain, but installing the flashing red LED was a breeze. I'll be buying from them again.
