I used this Evan Designs light and siren kit in my RC conversion of the Plasma Series Afterlife Ecto-1. It went from just a really nice piece of collectible decor on a shelf to a fully functional vehicle with lights and siren. A well done kit and highly recommend for those looking to add life to their Ecto-1.
Only issue was 1 double snap switch was defective. Fortunately I bought two kits to keep the project moving along for a quick fix.

Sounds just like the real movie one!! And lighting kit is awesome too… I think a may order another light kit just to get 4 more blue lights and two more red ones for the bullet tail lights.

Received a unit and powered it up, it failed to work.
I messaged Evan Designs, they guided me through some of the trouble shooting steps that I have tried and it was chaulked up to being USPS damage.
But Evan Designs had no problem replacing the device and postage paid to ship back the damaged one.
This company really goes all the way to making things right!
New siren works great!
This one is actually going on an old police siren to make it a new Ecto-1 car siren (buddy has a full sized car as his daily that is done up as Ecto-1). It all works as it should and I couldn't be happier.
I will certainly look through their catalog before ever looking at other places for items they sell.

This is exactly what the Hasbro/Kenner Classics Ecto-1 re-issue should've come with. As a kid would have LOVED this! I have little to no experience wiring, but this kit keeps most of the guesswork out. You'll likely have to drill holes into your Ecto but totally worth it. Best advise is to "practice" using a second-hand car if you already have one.
