Overall, I found that the merchandise that I received was somewhat what I expected. This being my first time in ordering a 'Pico Chip' light I REALLY didn't know JUST how SMALL the bulb was. I really had to go thru the packages a couple of times before finding the light. I believed the bulb had to have been broken in shipment and tested it immediately and was amazed that no it wasn't broken and the amount of lite that was emitted was will suited for the application that I was going to use it for.

I look forward to ordering different bulbs of different colors and sizes for the many different applications that I have in mind.

I rated customer service a little lower (3) since I ordered two coin cell batteries but only one was sent. Somehow the order fullfillment did not match the order properly.

I have no idea if I was charged for the missing battery.

In my case, I had extra batteries from another purchase and did not want to make a fuss about this error to the company. Plus, the order was for an event that has already happened and the time to mess witht his is not worth the $1 the battery cost.

Other than that snafu, the order went great. Terrific delivery! Kudos on that to the order fulfillment team!

I also liked all the LED options available. Everything was very clear on the website - especially the pictures of the nano and pico sized Chip LEDs that I ordered as compared to the size of a dime. That sold me. Good colors too. Every LED I ordered worked and there were no broken wires.

For the sales team: you might want to clarify that there are resistors that bulge the wires on some chips. I was going through a small hole and the resistors would not fit. I had to cut them off and resolder them in my application.

Their products are heads above any others I've come across online both is durability and price. If you call them, their customer service is beyond reproach. They fulfill your order quickly and correctly every time. What more can you ask for?

And when you take into account they are in a market which is highly competitive with small profit margin, they fill a customer's needs in a manner which I find almost too good to be true, and had I not have had many successful orders filled from them, I may not believe it myself.

The bottom line is quite simple. If they have what you need, I highly recommend you purchase from them. And in the few instances where they may be insignificantly higher in price, their quality more than makes up for it in the fact that 100% of what you get from them will work with no "duds" found in your order.

Of course it's your choice, but if you're smart, you'll take my advice. Make no mistake, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a satisfied customer who knows a good thing when I've found it.

I recently decided that my N scale layout needed some lighting, especially in the town and industrial areas. After searching for a source for my lighting needs, I found modeltrainsoftware.com. Do not let the name fool you. They do sell modeling software, but they also have a full selection of LEDs ranging from the standard 5 mm all the way down to the pico size. All are available in 12-15 volts. 9 volts or 3 volts. I opted for the 3 volt LEDs since I will be using over 100 of them. (They offer a price break if you order more than 10 of the same type.) Besides standard LEDs, they sell specialized ones which include flashing, flickering, and color-changing. They also sell power transformers, switches, and various other electrical supplies that supplement the LEDs. Their customer support is phenomenal. I had quite a few questions concerning the use of LEDs in the various lighting projects on my layout. Each of my five emails was answered within 24 hours and with a clear explanation. When I called with one last question, I actually spoke to the owners. Now how often does that happen these days! Of the 110 LEDs that I purchased, I have not found a bad one yet (and even if I do, the company will replace it free). If you are considering using LEDs for your lighting projects, please consider modeltrainsoftware.com as your source. They have a great selection, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. They are a class act!

Amazing! I have been stuck with ordering from japan for the prewired surface mount LED units and parts for model projects. Great prices and veritiy of options of power source or application. Great site and great products. I use theses LEDs for multiple hobbies, they are well built and easy to install.

Same quality service and items as in the past. The only thing I wish they would do to their website is to allow people to create an account to allow you to track past purchases. It had been a long time since I ordered last and it took me additional time to remember what that was. I only track the big items in my train database at home. Not a negative at all, just a wish. I love Model Train Software!

I am very happy with the merchant Model Train Software dot com.

The staff is excellent at helping you with questions, their products exceed expectations on durability and purpose.

They will ship fast, seem to always have the items in stock, and prices are so reasonable, you tend to want to purchase more from them because of a great overall experience.

I am not sure if they are modelers themselves, but they will try and resolve issues with you, from led replacement ( warranty) to asking you to describe your project need and reccomend a good fit solution.

I am using them for my HO scale project, and with their good customer service, and fast shipping, reasonable pricing, you should give them a try.

If you don't see what you are looking for, email them. They will either send you a link, or if for some unknown reason you are the first to ask, they will help guide you through the issue and direct you to the answer.

Some video's are on their website descibing a kit in detail and include assembly suggestions... so it really is a win win situation.

I am not sure when these people sleep. I've gotten replies to e-mails late at night and even on a Sunday. As a LED novice, I had some technical questions that were answered promptly and clearly. Having a life long ambition to build a model railroad and as a new beginner at model railroading it was a daunting task to understand it all particularly in the building of model structures?
