Description

Bi-directional or Bi-Color LEDs have two colors in the same bulb that can be lit independently of each other by energizing the wire that wire corresponds to the color.

BiColor, also called BiPolar LEDs, has a single ground and two hot (positive) leads.

These LEDs are 3mm.

Assembled, pre-wired with 8 inches of wire, and already set up with all components necessary for use in your layout. Anywhere from 9-19 volts of AC, DCC or DC power input.

Use these bi-directional LEDs anywhere you need an indicator light.

Connect the black wire. Connect one red wire for the green light. Disconnect and connect the other red wire for the red light. Great for control boxes and other indicator uses!

All of our LEDs come with a 2-year warranty!

N scale control panel project

The led’s are exactly what I need. They work well but the addition of the electronics mounted on each leg of the led made it difficult to fit them into the mounting clips- even though I ordered 10 clips more than I should have needed I still wound needing more clips to complete my project because it was so hard to insert them into the led mounting holes without damaging them - I also broke a lead off of one led trying to make them small enough to fit through the mounting holes (I did order more leds than I needed just in case I had this problem)

I purchased 50 of these bi-leds. They all worked flawlessly. Shipping was timely and in great condition.

GREAT LED's..... BUT

These are advertised as AC/DC/DCC. They are not true AC like the other universal LEDs. But still work Great!

Hi Travis
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review!
We appreciate it!
I want to let you know that the BiDirectional works very well on AC power as we used them this way.
Can you let me know what issue you encounter when connecting them to AC power?
It is only necessary to connect the center lead to a separate power than the 2 red leads, then it will work as expected! We are here to offer further support if needed!

Perfecta

This Led is just what was needed for the Lionel No. 6-2163 Auto Block Target Signal
The Bulbs lionel provided would make the signal housing melt but not this works perfectly
Sorry LEDS were NOT around 50 years ago
