Soutwestern style room view
This is a 1/120 scale Southwest Style roombox. In terms of lighting, it used a combination of 3 volt lights with two N batteries so the fireplace did not flicker the room lights about 9 bulbs altogether: * 1.8mm cool whites in the ceiling and wall in the living room and showing on the patio side of the wall; * 1.8mm warm whites in the outside "patio" area ceiling with some yellow/orange glass paint put on some of the bulbs to simulate a sunset;
* flickering fireplace (our 3v fire kit) in the patio area

Amazing Dutch baby house
I've had lot of fun lately working on small scale projects such as our three recent Dutch Baby Houses. I get a lot of emails from people who are just not certain that they would be able to work in such a small scale, and do not want to jump in on a project as large as a filled baby house. Madalyn's Dollhouse project was designed especially for you! If you are a small scaler, or if you have a child's room in 1/12 scale, this is a lovely project. Of course, it was specifically designed to coordinate with all of the pieces in Madalyn's Nursery. But I am also offering the doll house project as a stand alone class. LED lights wiring
"Taped 3 sets of LED Lights onto the interior walls of castle buildings. Drilled 2 holes where buildings intersect, ran the 3 sets of LED lights wiring through 1 lower window to the outside wall and connected to the switch/battery wires. Fused switch to wall with super glue. Hid exterior wires by cutting a slit in the styrofoam mountain and pushing visable wires under. Minor paint touch-up. Cut a slot in the styrofoam mountain where I wanted the battery holder and pushed the holder into the styrofoam. Note: the final landscaping shrubs and trees will be placed to hide visible wire parts. " Thanks to Murray Elliot BreenSurf the Arts for these great pictures and write-up.
Installed the building main roof and turrets after verifying that all the interior LED Lights worked. Horray!
