LED Lights in a neckerchief slide
I’m a boy scout leader and used the lights in a neckerchief slide. See pics, works great, thanks! I didn’t fix the inside yet, but I’ll get there.
Thanks so much, Mike.
Bakelite inkwell & pen sets with LEDs
I love the look of these old Bakelite inkwell & pen sets. I got the idea of turning them into nightlights and Evan Designs LED mini lights were just what I needed to turn my vision into a reality. The cube inkwell turns on by pushing down on the glass cube. The other, by pushing the pen down.

Nativity Unlit
Dave, Thank you for your help with wiring my nativity. I have sent you photos and a video: 1.) NativityUnlit - The nativity under natural exterior light, with no interior lighting. 2.) NativityLit - The nativity under low exterior lighting and with interior lighting. 3.) NativityVideo122917 - Is a short video showing the various levels of interior lighting, cast on Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus, using the remote control. 4.) OpenLight - A 5mm LED attached to a post, shining on a surface 6 inches away. This shows the spread of the projected light on the reflected surface. 5.) SpotLight - The same 5mm LED that I have slid a 1"" long section of heat shrink tubing onto, showing a more focused pattern of light on the reflected surface. 6.) WireSupport - The solution I came up with for securing the delicate wires to the manger's wooden beams was to cut a section from a safety pin and bend a crook in it, (like a sheppard's staff). The sharp, pointy end makes it easy to push into the wood with a pair of pliers, while applying just the right amount of force, without damaging the wires. In my opinion, better than staples. 7.) NativityRoofView & NLiights - both show the wires and 'spotlights' hidden under the roof. I have really enjoyed wiring this project using your products and look forward to future wiring projects using LEDs. P.S. Taking a serious look into getting started with Arduino. Looks very interesting. Thanks again. Rory
Buildings with LEDs
Thanks, I'm sure you will be getting another order from me very soon......these buildings are relentless when it comes to eating lights. I have very simple yard tower lights and also light poles that I actually incorporate the design of your LED into the design of the structure.....things are hidden in plain sight so to speak. Thinking about an article possibility.
Hi Dave!
The nuisance back again! Just to say thank you for your wonderful lights once again. I just wish you were a little closer as I would use your site/shop all the time :) I have included a few wee pics to show you how I used the less on this year's christmas bauble. I hope you like them!
Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous 2014. ( I am already compiling my LED shopping list for next year! :) )
Ta for now,

Earffel Tower
Hello,
I've placed a few orders with you over the last year or so. I have really enjoyed adding LED lights to my work; I previously sent you pictures of my Disney Cinderella Castle paper sculpture with your color-changing LED lights added to it, and you added those pictures to your website's gallery.
I recently finished a smaller project, but this time I designed it around the LED lights and wiring, rather than adding the lights after. This is known as the "Earffel Tower", (as in France's "Eiffel Tower") a faux water tower that used to stand at Walt Disney World. The peach building at the base hides the 3V cell battery and the center of the film reel is the on/off switch. The wiring runs up the center column and through the cardboard base. I have one cool white LED light inside the "top" of the water tower to illuminate where the name is displayed, but I had to add 2 more chip lights to make the ears light up as well. It is just under 10 inches tall.
Even though I want to add some more lights to my castle, I don't have LED projects underway right now. When I do, I look forward to placing another order for more lights!
Thank you,
Robert L.

Horror chamber
Well..FINALLY :D! Man was it worth it! I am really proud of how this turned out, it was my first time lighting any of my art! I definitely hit some bumps, but Shelly from Evan Designs was absolutely amazing helping me through it, and shipping me everything in time to prep for Designer Con! Buy stuff from them, they rock! http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/

Thanks for your help! Lights look great!
Wizard stick
A wizard staff I made for a friend. He found the stick in the woods one day and asked me to give it some pizzazz, so I added the quartz rock with a chip LED underneath and hid the button under the paracord wrapping. Gonna be doing more of these soon.

Skull marbles
I picked up this set of skull marbles for a great price & ran into trouble on how to
display them. Luckily, I found your site.
I know, they are a bit creepy lol! But, they grow on you & when you reposition them over the lights,
they change color. It's a really cool effect & was so easy to do.
Thank you :)

this is what i'm doing with [Evan Designs] LEDs. I'm sending this to you to show that there is more to do with them.
I'm a photographer and I search for ways to create something different with my pictures. One of my projects is to take a picture and make a mirror copy of it. Sometimes, I put in LEDs for a different approach.
I must say that your LEDs are perfect for this.

Working people welcome Santa
The project is done, with the help of your awesome lights!
With the exception of the flicking fire lights, I ended up using the picos. They were more bright enough, and the size allowed for the wires to be run through the tight fit of the bricks. I am very impressed with how durable these lights are, they were definitely abused for some of the fits. The switches came in quite handy, as they allowed me to stagger how I activate the lights. Great products!
Please find some pictures attached, feel free to use them. I look forward to more projects with these lights.
Regards,
Cedric M.
