ANY built-up plastic, resin, or scratch-built building can be decorated with Printouts of the window treatments or interiors printed from this program. Scales: N, HO, O, and G.

When you print your final sheet of window treatments transparencies, you can put the whole sheet of treatments in place in your building, no need to work "window by window".

We print all of our designs using an ordinary $99 Inkjet Printer and use either Inkjet Transparency or Vellum.
One sheet of each type of paper is included with the Window Designer Program, to help get you started. (These papers do not come with the download option)

Good Product

This is a ideal product for model railroaders. Adds live to almost any building on the layout.

Just a little "clunky"

Does not seemed to have changed since the ninety's apart from being able to run in windows 11.
Still needs to be made more "logical" to use or it needs a instruction manual to explain it.
But it works OK even if it does need updating, in the larger scales the graphics are very low resolution.

Hi Trevor thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! There is a user manual in the 'Help' menu, it's a PDF I am sorry you missed it. Window Designer is great for scales up to 1:24. The interiors are from 2020.

Works, But could use an update

I used to software to create window and door treatments from scratch for a Lunde Studios hotel. Once I played with it, I eventually got all of the windows lined up nicely. The printer setup is old, similar to Windows XP settings, and I had to set my printer settings in multiple places to get the correct output using Windows 11. The software also only uses basic colors for design. One tip we discovered for Epson printer users is to tape a full piece of regular white paper to the transparency or it won't detect the edges and sides correctly for feeding.

Overall, it did work for what we needed to accomplish.
