This panel mount style toggle switch can be used to turn your LED Lights on and off with the flip of a switch. We have pre-wired this switch with 8" of Kynar wire, so it is all ready to add to your hobby LED projects.

You will notice that this switch has 2 red wires. We thought this little diagram would help when you go to wire this switch into your project. The diagram shows a battery pack but this applies to basically any power supply. The switch is just an image of a switch, it is not a toggle in this diagram but the toggle will be installed the same way.

how to wire a toggle switch into your project

One of the red wires on your little toggle goes to the power supply: either wall adapter or battery. The other red wire goes to your lights. It does not matter which of the red wires you connect to power or to the lights. Please note, there is no wire going to the black side of your battery or lights.

This switch can handle 1.5 Amps at 250 Volts. This miniature toggle is capable of controlling up to 75 LEDs.

I have not use the switches yet. I gave it a 5 star rating because you are dealing with a fine company. Evan Designs. Simply the best!

really poor quality

Both wires broke off switch as soon as I touched them. Now needed to scrape off the shrink tube and reconnect with heavier wire. Your choice of wire was so thin it broke with no real movement. Wont buy again!!

Hi Thomas
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review!
Your feedback is helpful to us.
I understand that you do not care for the wire we used. The reason we use fine wire is really to make it easier for modelers to hide the wire and not drill unnecessarily large holes in their delicate projects. But in your case this was not seen as an advantage and we completely understand.
We are sending you another of the toggle switches tomorrow with heavier wire added to it. I notice in your review the switch was ok, it was the wire that was the deal breaker!

We hope that this helps you to complete your project as I know you are set back by the wires you had.

Thank you for your patience with this issue and thank you again for your Feedback!
