Our FRED LED Kit makes it possible to have a flashing red light in your last car when you have plastic trucks! Or when you have no way to access the power coming from the track.
FRED simulator LED is ready to set into place in the last car in your line.
This easy to use complete kit contains all you need but a boxcar and drill!
as you may be able to see from this picture you get:
- Red Flashing any sized LED set up for 3 volts
- 3 volt coin cell holder with switch
- 3 volt coin cell
- EZ shrink tube, shrinks with lighter/hair dryer
- total weight of all components 0.2 ounce

The LED will work for 10+ years, we guarantee it for the first 2 years with free replacement. The coin cell will need to be replaced after approximately 70-100 hours.
N Scalers, this unit can fit your box car.
A modification: we clip the 2 "wings" off the holder to get it to better fit into the car. The battery is still firmly held by the metal clips inside the holder.
