Tales of the Navigator

“Tales of the Navigator” boxed diorama. Inspired by a friend’s book. I have a B-36 monitoring a Soviet nuclear explosion.A B-29 barely clearing an Alaskan mountain pass with 3 engines out. And a C-130 heading to Hanoi to retrieve POW remains. The nuclear explosion is a side-glow fiber optic lite from the bottom with an orange LED. The sky background is a DYI Christmas tree bulb painted black with holes drilled in it. The stars are lite up with 3 LEDs around the outside of the bulb. There are 2 LEDs to light up the horizon of the Alaskan mountain range. I have one LED for the ceiling light. 1 spotlighting the central figure and another spotlighting the Vietnam map. The Figures are 1/16th scale and the planes are 1/600th scale
