Rustic Model Building
"Took some time out from other modeling to take a whirl at your free sample [found at our
Model Builder page]. I added details on the trim to give it more dimension, as well as building up the false front a little. Turned out great. I already have the
Brickyard package, and I will be ordering your design software soon!"
Brick Harborside structure
"I just completed these two 3D flats using your
Brickyard papers. They are modeled on actual buildings from my hometown. I added details but am just blown away by the appearance of your papers. Careful weathering with powdered charcoal really makes them pop, in my opinion."
We think these extra details really make the design pop. Thanks for sharing!

Cardstock Sheds
Wondering what materials make a difference in building your models? Check out this submission from one of our customers.
"I downloaded the free download of the shed and then built it two different ways. The first one was just as the designer did on cardstock. With the second one, I glued the cardstock on black chip board, then glued the walls to the front and back letting the chipboard show. It looks great, just like trim!"
Model Lumber Mill
"I just completed my very first scratch built with the aid of
Model Builder. This is the Casterline Sawmill & Lumberyard in Hillbilly Junction, TN. The sawmill workers are Prieser construction workers. I designed this in part from a photo I saw of a custom kit that cost over $400! My actual investment was about $35.00!"
Model Builder is just as cost-effective as it is easy to use!

Cooders Store Using Model Builder
Customer Roy Wilke submitted this diorama with the Cooders Store mode from Evan Designs'
Model Builder. The model represents a suburban shop in an Australian city or medium-sized town. The original model has been modified by replacing the gable roof with a half-hip roof and replacing the shingle roof card with cards that mimic corrugated iron roofing. The awning posts, as is the sub-frame that holds it all together, are made of matchsticks. The "tiled front" for the shop's street frontage comes from a file for a London Underground station, and the advertisements are taken from the Internet. The front windows and doors are open and include a rudimentary shop interior, which can be illuminated with an installed LED.
"Thank you for your time, and for providing a rather good, easy to build, and easily-adaptable model building."
Thanks for the submission, Roy!
