Classic cars
Hi,
After purchasing some of your products not so long ago I thought I'd share a recent completed project where the 'Classic Car Lights' where used with success.
My fetish this year (along with other car projects of course) was taking a 1:43 Corgi Toys Buick Riviera and converting it but more like a major code 3 for advanced modellers only :-)
The attached pictures below probably speak a thousand words but the challenge was basically cut the roof off this 70's American 2 door, make a custom interior and somehow shoe horn in working front and rear lights with a on/of switch.
I must say I'm pretty happy with the results and if your wondering, although I'm sure you've spotted it by now, the on/off switch is in the gear level and is simply a matter of pressing it down to activate lights on and off. Yes this was a tight fit and was probably my biggest challenge along with the 3v button battery location with some mods but I managed it.
Lots of chrome work and a rich red metallic paint job completes this project.
Thank you for some really great products along with a great service.
Seasons Greetings to you all from down under Australia!
Public transportation
Hello folks, thanks for making a great product. Your LEDs are the best. I am using them in many applications on my O gauge model railroad. The attached photo is my most recent use for lights on a bus. I added a fifth LED and fiber optics to light the clearance lights on the vehicle. I am very pleased with the results.

Police ouside of a building
Police Car using Evan Design LEd lights
Florida police vehicle
1/24 POLICE: Florida Highway Patrol with reflective decals using Evan Design Lights
Land Rover Defender
Did this up as a display model for one of my wife's co-workers. Fourteen LEDs used. Could have done even more, such as interior lighting but stopped at this level to keep the price within the client's budget.
Street sweeper truck
Wish I could find more of these at a reasonable price. Have seen a couple n Ebay but none at the $5.00 each I paid for these.
Light tower machine
Handed to me by a client who wanted it lighted. It is 1/32nd scale and originally came with a truck to tow it. Despite the large scale, it would work with O-gauge if reasonably far enough away from other vehicles.
Ford Explorer Interceptor
This is my Ford Explorer Interceptor model my friend and I made for another friend in Law Enforcement. It has 16 LEDs and also has a siren.
The decals and paint were done by a friend, the lights and siren, by me.
Beetle with a camper
Really cute subject matter...unusual and a sure eye-catcher on a train layout...or sitting on the shelf!
Fire marshall's microbus
Unusual as to subject matter and does not display a specific fire department name, as do most Corgi diecast fire vehicles.
Fire truck on wooden pedestal
Another in a the batch of Corgi fire vehicle diecasts recently acquired.
Deuce and a half
Always on the lookout for unusual subject matter. This was among the 22 Corgi diecast fire and rescue vehicles I recently acquired.
Wooden bulldozer
These great LED's were easy to use and install and really made this front end loader I made for my son extra impressive. I finished the project last week finally. Thanks for your help and great products. Here are a few pictures.
Huge fire truck
This was among around 20 vintage Corgi 1/50th diecast fire trucks I recently acquired at a remarkably low cost.
Fire rescue truck
A somewhat rare E-One Cylclone II Rescue Box with a fistful of Evan Design LEDs added
