Gorgeous antique porcelain lamp
I bought a little lamp at an estate sale.
It had once been an electrified lamp and had the broken parts of the old incandescent light in it.
It also had the top globe broken off, and I thought I might be able to put an LED in it.
It took some work removing the old parts, but I got them out.
Then I had to ream out the wire hole so the LED wire would fit in it.
I threaded the wires through the hole, hooked them to the battery pack and, oh wow, it is a lovely little piece
(after a bit of repainting). You really set me on fire. I can make almost any little lamp into an LED.
There is one little problem. It has to have a hole that can be made large enough to accomodate the two wires and the resistor.
