Titanic before the crash
I have attached a couple of pictures.
I took all 11 LEDs, wired them to the
yoke/switch and tested - perfect.
I made a light bar of heavy stock paper and
aluminum foil. I inserted the LEDs on center every 2 inches.
Then I drilled out the Hull bottom and shaped a rectangular hole
the dimensions of the yoke. (the hole is centered over the forward base column
which I also drilled out). I fed the transformer wire up
through the hull and out the forecastle deck opening,
plugged into the yoke and then retracted the whole assembly
back through the forecastle deck opening pulling the yoke out through
the hole in the hull. I glued the yoke in place so it is flush with
the hull bottom. I let the glue dry, waited for darkness and plugged
in the transformer. The results were just what I had hoped for.
Now I can install the forecasltle deck, formast and final rigging
and RMS Titanic with be finished.
