Description

Our Knight Rider Circuit is built on the pattern of the lights used in car Kitt from Knight Rider.

This Scrolling LED pattern is also used in the Cylon Raider Eye for your Battlestar Galactica Fans. You can use it in other models that need a cool effect as well

The custom-programmed microcircuit is attached to 6 or 8 small Nano size LEDs.  Each light is on 8" wires. The light pattern moves back and forth between the LEDs with a fading chasing light trail.

The fully assembled tiny circuit can be fit into small cars or other projects that need this pattern.

What you get:

  • fully assembled shrink tubed circuit
  • 8" input wires
  • Choose from 6 or 8 LEDs each with 8" wires in your choice of colors

The wire length on the Nanos is slightly different so you can tell the order of lighting.  The longest to shortest is the order for this chaser.

PRO TIP: You can take a video of the lights with your cell phone, then watch the playback at 1/4 speed.  It will help you easily put the lights in order.

Circuit dimensions:
  • the 3 volt circuit is 4mm x 9mm by 17mm long
  • The 6–12 volt circuit is 8mm x 10mm x 21mm long
  • the 7–19 volt AC/DC circuit is 10mm x 18mm x 34mm long

NIGHT RIDER LED KIT - 5 STARS!

I installed his "KIT" on my 2001 LS-1 V8 Miata. You can't tell it's even there when it's off.

My favorite single light array

I love the motion on this one. I've used a 6-light one before for a cyberpunk face piece, and now that I'm working on a newer, fancier one I went with the 8 light version. It looks great and I can't wait to install it!

Pros & Cons

I have purchased two of these LED kits. They work great and I was happy with the quality of the kit. The one improvement I wish was made was if the wires were labeled in sequential order of the chase pattern of the light. The wires are not, so you have to turn them on and then trace the chase pattern to figure out the order you need the wires to be on.

hi RayThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review!I am sorry you encountered difficulty with the knight rider circuit.  On most of our current stock, we do have the LEDs numbered, I checked you unfortunately got the 8-LED green version that had not been numbered yet.  We still could have made it a little easier if you had contacted us about sorting out the light order. You may not have notices, but the LEDs are arranged by length so the shortest LED can be put first, then out to longest LED. This is the way to sort out the lights. We will be sure to number any future orders from you. Thank you again for your purchase!

Great tiny circuit that makes the LEDs flow exactly like they donin the show.

Really impressive design, small enough so it fits inside a KITT model easily. Quick shipping, too!

Great set of lights. Works perfectly.

Perfect for project

Worked almost perfectly for my application. Used a opaque white diffuser for a less sharp light effect and happy with results. If I would offer one con, wires to led could be a bit longer for my application.

Thank you so much for your review! We have noted that the 8' wires are a bit short. You can always contact us before purchase as we do sometimes make custom items.

Knight Rider Lights

Too bad it only took my like 30 years to have Knight Rider lights in my car. But I love them, now I kind of want them in all colors instead of just red.

My project.

Saw these online and im always looking for interesting hardware for the backpacks I make. I'm gonna sew them in behind some clear plastic. Something exciting to try.
