I extended my motel as in the picture.  I use 80 Lb. HP Soft Gloss Photo Paper.  It was the heaviest I could find and works very well.  My motel was long enough that I needed to add a base made out of the same paper.  The roof is made of the same material as the little piece included for the roof over the office.  It is 2.38 inches by as long as needed for your motel and its matching cottages.  I crease it down the middle.  The shingles look similar, even upside down. The cottages are simply parts taken from this motel.  My paper was not long enough to cover the entire length of my hotel.  I joined two pieces together by back splicing even with peak of the office.  The main roof had to be notched a bit to clear the top of the office.  Happy building!
